Our Quality Control and Inspection
Strict quality control is maintained at every stage of manufacturing. Investment casting are of radiographic quality and chemical composition, physical properties and heat treatment standard which is carried out as per the customers' requirements.
Our quality management system of stage-wise inspection of various components for dimensions & other properties are followed strictly as per our quality policy & records are maintained.
As per our Quality Policy we incorporate the following:
- We select all our service providers/sub-contractors and vendors only after test orders and careful examination. We also make sure to perform random and periodic checks at regular intervals.
- Premsons ensures that the received orders are delivered to clients on time.
- We have laid down procedure-matrices that are strictly adhered to and used by qualified personnel in each and every process.
- We adhere to standards which ensure that the rejection rate is less than 1% of the total output.
Our Setup
We have established a well planned infrastructure, which has been segmented into working area designed specifically different work processes. For foundry works we have designed a unit at around 10000 Sq. Ft. of wide space. Another 10000Sq. Ft. area is designed for after casting process i.e short blasting, heat treatment, etc. We have also designated space of another 2500 Sq. Ft. as a machining centre.
In addition to the above details, there are certain other well facilitated sections that we have intendedly organized in our setup to accomplish our operations smoothly.
A brief outlook of these sections or departments along with the installed facilities is given below:
- Pattern Shop: To make patterns with the most accurate dimensions and tolerances, precise designs and suitable materials in accordance with their purpose and lifetime.
- Moulding Shop: Equipped with pneumatic rammers and sand compactors that can be used extensively for meeting a broad range of requirements for hand moulding in both quality and quantity.
- Melting Shop: Equipped with "INDUCTOTHERM" make, medium frequency induction furnace with two crucibles nominal capacity of 1500 kg.
- Fettling Shop: Equipped with flexible shaft grinders, heavy duty swing frame grinders, pneumatic chippers and sanders etc.
- Chemical & Physical Testing Laboratory: Furnished with chemical testing by gravimetric system for chemical analysis. We also have Rockwell & Poldy hardness testers for hardness testing and various other useful equipment installed in this section.
